Calling all adventure enthusiasts!
Outback Mike has landed in Geraldton and will be hosting a free screening of his highly acclaimed film Modern Day Castaway followed by a live Q&A with the man himself.
This Thursday, community members will be able to meet the adventurist and survival expert at the QEII Seniors and Community Centre for an exclusive event.
City of 尹人直播 Mayor Jerry Clune is thrilled to be welcoming Outback Mike to town.
“Modern Day Castaway is a not to be missed story of survival, grit and bushcraft in remote Australia,” he said.
“This event provides a fantastic opportunity to experience an inspiring edge of your seat journey into the wild, meet the man who lived it and see the raft he did it on.
“I encourage everyone to get down to the QEII Centre for an unforgettable evening”.
Outback Mike is delighted to be back in Geraldton with his new film.
“I spent considerable time in Geraldton when I was in the Air Force and it is great to be back here to share Modern Day Castaway,” he said.
“I can’t wait to meet everyone on Thursday and tell some stories”.
Modern Day Castaway will screen at the QEII Seniors and Community Centre at 6pm Thursday 7 August.
Entry to this event is free and reflects the City’s commitment to supporting programs, initiatives and events that build social connections.
