CARRIED 9/0  TC "GENERAL BUSINESS:" \f C \l "1" GENERAL BUSINESS:  TC "CARNARVON-MULLEWA ROAD CONDITION OF" \f C \l "1" CARNARVON-MULLEWA ROAD CONDITION OF Councillor Thurkle advised that he had received numerous complaints regarding the condition of the Carnarvon-Mullewa Road between Mullewa and the Tallering Peak turnoff. Council resolved to place the classifier on the road and assess the condition of the road immediately. If the problem is considered to be due to traffic associated with the Kingstream project, the agreement may need to be invoked.  TC "TALLERING PEAK ACCESS TO" \f C \l "1" TALLERING PEAK ACCESS TO Councillor Thurkle advised that he had received a number of enquiries regarding access to Tallering Peak. The Chief Executive Officer informed Council that Kingstream is within its rights to keep the gates locked and will not permit access due to its concern of liability. It is still possible to visit the gorges but access to the Peak is not permitted. General Information about various forms of electronic funds transfer facilities has been sought and received from the Commonwealth Bank. Two options previously investigated were BPAY and EFTPOS facilities. It is possible that the benefit of having such facilities in place may, in the long term, outweigh the costs.
