As this had not been done the Chief Executive Officer was directed to attend to the matter.  TC "WESTRAIL RESERVE ACCESS ROAD" \f C \l "1"  WESTRAIL RESERVE ACCESS ROAD Councillor Jenkin requested direction as to who is responsible for maintenance of the access road which serves the Mitchell Fuel depot. The Chief Executive Officer advised that this land belongs to Westrail and is not under Councils care or control, however on occasions a courtesy maintenance grade is provided.  TC "GERALDTON-MOUNT MAGNET ROAD CONDITION OF" \f C \l "1"  GERALDTON-MOUNT MAGNET ROAD CONDITION OF Councillor Messina expressed concern at the condition of the Geraldton-Mount Magnet Road west of Mullewa and of the failure of the State Government to be able to honour its funding commitments with respect to widening and improvements. In his view, and this was supported by the Council, the road is substandard for the heavy vehicle combinations presently using it and unless immediate action is taken to effect improvements, there is a likelihood of a very serious accident and injury. It was determined that the Shire President will raise Councils concerns directly with the Hon Minister for Transport with supporting accident history where known.
